Here in the UK my kids went back to school this week, and zero percent of my brain was wondering if this would be the year they are shot dead. They've never had an active shooter drill, and have no need for bulletproof backpacks. Freedom comes in many forms, is what I am saying

personally, I am scared to go to the UK. You never know when you could get knifed in the street, have acid thrown on you, or run down by a terrorist. I prefer to stay someplace that I am free to defend myself.

we need to "harden" our schools, rather than spend more money on upgraded textbooks, teachers pay, high-tech classrooms, and less stress on our families. Our taxpayer priorities regarding education is royally screwed up.

Yes, taxpayers DO want upgraded textbooks, teacher pay, high-tech classrooms, and less stress on our families. The ones with the screwed up priorities are the ones who received a massive tax break this year. They're find with a school shooting here or there. More $$$$ for them.
