One thing that seems like a potential issue: Capitol Police and the National Guard are worn out. We have troops without actual quarters. Capitol Police officers have been working 12 hour days every day since Jan. 6th. One cop told me last night they’re all “ready to explode.”

Barrasso: "It sounds like Speaker Pelosi doesn't think President Biden has a right to have a Cabinet because that's how she's acting. She sends it Monday, she's saying to Joe Biden: ‘I don't care about you or your Cabinet.'"

Cornyn, via pool: "Absent some agreement, we won't be doing any confirmations, we won't be doing any COVID-19 relief, we won't be doing anything else other than impeaching the person who's not even president."

“I thought it would be a good show of unity,” House GOP Whip Steve Scalise said Tuesday, of bringing former DNC chair Donna Brazile as his guest to inauguration. Okay, but 2 weeks ago, he voted to overturn the election and vowed to “stand up for the rule of law."

Rep. Kevin Brady is another one. “Biden’s message of unity is crucial as we must work together, finding common ground where we can to help all Americans succeed," he said Weds. He joined a (failed) Texas lawsuit to try to overturn the election without any evidence of fraud.

Two weeks ago: 147 Republicans voted to overturn the election, citing lies about widespread fraud, hours after a Trump mob fueled by those lies attacked the Capitol. Now: Those same Republicans are praising Biden's inauguration + saying God Bless America.
