Safety is a top priority at Idaho Power, & a recent donation will keep the community of Halfway safer throughout the year. Energy advisors delivered a retired Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck, which will become the city’s new snowplowing vehicle & used for other public service needs.

Did you know January is National Blood Donor Month? Yesterday, our downtown Boise offices held their quarterly blood drive and donated 46 units of blood (38 donors were Idaho Power employees) and surpassed the drive's goal by 18 units. Thanks to everyone who donated!

IDACORP shareholders recently donated $25,000 to The Salvation Army, joining Idaho Power customer contributions of nearly $171,000 for the 2021–22 Project Share season. This money provides energy-bill assistance to neighbors in need throughout southern Idaho & eastern Oregon.

Take care out there! If you have to drive, give yourself extra time, go slow and be aware of power poles along the sides of roads. Winter storms can sometimes cause power lines to fall, if you encounter a downed line, stay back — at least 100 feet — and call 911.
