Not according to http://www.tunequest.org/a-big-list-of-mp3-patents/20070226/ … . They could be wrong of course. But so could anyone else.

they have the dates wrong on the last two, as far as I can tell. Their Priority Dates don’t match that page. Not a lawyer though!
-
true, US5924060 was filed Mar 20th, not Aug 29th and US5703999 was filed in 1996, but granted in 1997 (it's 20y after filing, right?)
-
it’s 20 years after the Priority Date, generally, which is not always the filing date.
-
in those cases the priority dates were several years earlier (92 and 86), so in that case.. even better :)
-
It depends on whether the patent was filed for before June 8, 1995. If it is then it's 17 years after issue, so a bit more tricky.
-
Both patents in question were filed after. They're done.

Someone should make a patents expiring soon twitter bot
-
Great, there goes my afternoon.
-
Should have something I won't be likely to abandon done tomorrow sometime.
-
Let me know, I'll totally retweet that.
-
Hey, was
@patentsexpiring from you,@knarphie? I just saw it in my follower list. -
Yeah, and then it broke and I have been both busy and lazy. I will get it going again shortly.
-
No worries, let me know when I should make good on my promise to retweet it. :)

On the other hand, who needs MP3 anymore now, now that there's Vorbis and most storage is big enough for FLACs
-
the fundamental problem with software patents in a single tweet.
-
I was just noting how an older music video on YouTube had been re-encoded with Opus, Vorbis is so last decade!
-
Personally, I prefer middle-out multimedia compression algorithms

Almost! I don't know how relevant the final two are for most people though: https://www.tunequest.org/a-big-list-of-mp3-patents/20070226/ …
-
he has the dates wrong on the last two.
-
Oh damn, you're right – I never even bothered to check!
