As of today, I’ve ridden the Red Planet around our Sun one whole time. Highlights from my first Mars year:

Explore vast crater floor

Collect 18 samples

Examine ancient river delta

Not one to brag, but this is pretty momentous. By dropping this one tube to the ground, I’ve officially started setting aside samples that Mars Sample Return could bring back to Earth someday. Learn more: go.nasa.gov/3WzZ5qF

On Sol 414 the Ingenuity mars helicopter scouted the crash site of the parachute and backshell that brought it and the rover safely through the atmosphere before it was jettisoned and crashed on the surface. Interactive version on @Sketchfab: skfb.ly/ouWG7
