Cornell is a good pollster but if you listen to his interview in early 2019 on pod save he does not say this at all. He points to reason Trump beat Hillary cuz black voters/communities were ignored by Dem establishment and talked how Bernie tapped into voters who want change

I don’t disagree that we should vote out Trump and the threat he poses but the goal as Belcher has always said should be to expand the base to the disenfranchised and to the left . . . Not the middle/right
