The law is bad, it’s bad for everyone but huge (already massively profitable!) companies. Apple themselves made it clear with itunes that drm and legal action isn‘t a solution to copyright abuse. Apple wants their tech, it’s pretty obvious, DMCA is just a hammer in legal world
