Also worth remembering how central GameStop was in gamer culture at the time. When and I broke the story of Sony rejecting discless plans for the PS4, GME jumped some 13%. online.wsj.com/article/SB1000 The idea of the digital tipping point was still very new and uncertain

The entire Xbox One with Kinect and game sharing experience would have completely changed the ecosystem for the better but y’all let a couple of talking heads create a “draconian drm” and “spy camera” mob and the platform has never fully recovered from the walk back. twitter.com/jezcorden/stat…

This is incredible. Water in the tree trunks freezing from windchills and cracking the wood.

Musk has said he’ll bring greater transparency to Twitter. So far: 1. API price hike 2. Overdue transparency report 3. Key researcher consortium stalled
Quote Tweet
New: Twitter’s decision to paywall its API is drawing blowback from researchers and lawmakers, who say it undermines Elon Musk's pledge to boost transparency on the site. W/ an assist from @Cat_Zakrzewski washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/

A woman did her regular aerobics class out in open without realizing that a coup was taking place in #Myanmar. A Military convoy reaching the parliament can be seen behind the woman as she performs aerobics. Incredible!

It lists exposure to drag in the "require to register" section along with acts such as sex traficking of a minor. This is absolutely insane. A person performing the play version of Mrs. Doubtfire could be charged with a felony and forced to register as a sex offender.

God. Part of the horror of the Tyre Nichols video - which I’m not sharing - is how what we hear officers say is the opposite of what we see. For ex - the demand to see his hands when they are holding his arms & kicking him. It appears they’re manufacturing a pretext for the stop.
