Back in LA for the first time in a while — absolutely incredible amount of indoor masking even with no mandate, zero awareness that areas with less masking have had much better results

It shows that people dont pay attention. It shows that it is very easy to nudge people into irrational behavior.

I’m seeing less indoor masking than when the mandate was first lifted, though. It’s the outdoor masking and unmasked adults with masked kids that gets me.

If it makes you feel any better, all over San Francisco, they still wear them outside. I’d say it’s 50 %
