You can't conclude that those cities are doing worse than others without mask mandates, but they are not doing any better either.

If the end of this chat is Aug 6, aren't all of those case from people catching COVID before even the first mask mandate was passed? I haven't seen mask mandates work anywhere, but this dataset needs a week more to actually rule out any effect

I’m curious if there is any real raw data that does show this same trend. It seems like the scientific method would kick in after as many duplicatable models as can have been observed over the last 16 months.
