The US should send humanitarian aid to the caravan. Not 15,000 soldiers.

Can you imagine what they must be fleeing to risk this if that's the case? It must be God awful. We were just lucky to have been born here. Luck of the draw. That could be you and your baby fleeing who knows what all for a better life. You got lucky.

You fly a Canadian flag by your name you should know that they ARE doing it legally. There is nothing illegal about going to the border and asking in.

I am disgusted by a lot of comments on here! These women are trying to save their children from unthinkable violence and living conditions. If I was in their shoes, to help my children, I would do the same thing.

They could start by seeking asylum in any of the countries on the way to the US, including Mexico where they’ve been offered help which they’ve refused. Feel so sad for the kid to have such parents.

Unless you're my age, you don't remember the influx of Cuban refugees fleeing Castro or Vietnamese refugees in the 1970s. Those who flee their homes do it because staying means danger & often death. Here's a story I waited 40 years to tell. This is who's in the "caravan."pic.twitter.com/hVd4A1aUI2
