If they want to abdicate their oaths - let them do it for posterity.
Call their bluff. Follow the Constitution. Now is not the time to operate from a place of fear.

Keep investigating. If he still wins we can then send it to the Senate with more evidence.

Once they vote to impeach, law requires automatically goes to Senate. If they vote not to impeach it will be 100% obvious its always been political and Trump as correct from the beginning
-
they can withhold the last paragraph about Senate referral and vote to impeach in the House. Hold onto the voted articles till whenever they choose.

Lots of people suggesting this. Dem leadership should listen and consider. No point giving Trump and GOP an excuse to starting shouting "EXONERATION" every damn day a thousand times like they did with Mueller.
@SpeakerPelosi@RepAdamSchiff@RepJerryNadler -
They'll shout exoneration no matter what. "The Dems knew their case was so weak they didn't even send it to the Senate." You know where it cd make a difference? If, say,
@SenatorCollins is forced to say for the record that she's ok w/trump's behavior, she could lose her seat. - Show replies

I totally support this. McConnell et al have already made it clear that it won’t be a fair trial. When the jury has already made up its mind, won’t demand fact witnesses and colludes with the defendant, it won’t be fair and the majority of the American people won’t accept it.
