Whole thing has BuildMyRank vibes: First we test it out - "it works well!" Then with regular use - "it's great at scaling content!" Then SEO teams put the peddle to the metal, and Google just zaps us all for being greedy little piggies. That's how this story always goes.

Many suffer from imposter syndrome in the industry. I wonder if it's partly to do with that moment where they reach that point at the bottom & begin to believe they're not any good at this. Then when the results come in, they mistakenly think it was because they got 'lucky'.

The emotional rollercoaster of a PR campaign You've come up with a great idea that you know will work, you're good at this. It goes out & doesn't immediately gain traction. Maybe you're not so good after all. The feeling dissipates when it begins to land coverage
