    This is in Canada, too! And you're right, if we as women of colour don't see characters & leads we want to see in literature, only we can make a difference by creating these storylines ourselves told through our lenses. This is amazing what she is doing at her young age.🤗👸🏿👸🏾👸🏽

    If you attended an American school, then you are well aware of the lack of diversity with regard to literature. Marley Dias saw a problem & devised the project, aimed to collect & share 1,000 black female-led novels to libraries through out the country. 💓
