Fantis keep trying to discredit the Reddit post from the mom of a teen fanti/grooming victim for the same reasons they’re getting more vocal in attacking me again.
Predators don’t want ppl to start paying attention to what they are doing & they’re circling the wagons

My friend reported these servers & many of them were shut down. But the mods would just create new accounts & servers and the whole operation would be back up within a few days. She said it was like whack-a-mole. Predators do not let go of their prey so easily.

The adults grooming these kids have always attacked me bc I’ve long recognized & called out the patterns of abuse & manipulation that I myself was subjected to as a teen.
They hate that we see them for what they are. They are desperate to silence or discredit us.

Adults like myself who are trying to make parents & teachers aware of these predators pose a critical threat to the predators. They can’t operate without their veil of secrecy. That’s why they orchestrate the harassment against us, call us pedos, etc. To silence & discredit.

They know they can’t prevent these teens from seeing the Reddit post. But they need to prevent their victims from recognizing the similar ones to their own experience reflected in the post. So they tell the kids, “It’s obviously fake.”

They keep pointing to extraneous details to “disprove” the entire post. Like how they keep saying it’s fake bc “you can’t play Minecraft on a Chromebook!” When the mom never specified the child was using that device. (The wording of the post implies they played on their phone.)

The predators convince their victims that their is no danger behind the curtain. After all, they’re the “safe” adults that can be trusted. 🙃

Their victims are forced to either perform that belief via attacking the post on Twitter & people like me who are spreading awareness
OR
Be shunned from the group (and likely face harassment & retaliation as punishment for defecting).

This is the way it works in instances where the groomers don’t conceal the fact that they are adults. (And reminder, just bc someone says they’re 22, doesn’t mean they’re not actually much older than that.)
The sneaky type of predator tries to blend in with the other sheep.

This has been a tactic for over a decade. It happened to me when I was 14. I had an online “boyfriend.” We met on xanga & chatted via instant messengers. We exchanged inappropriate selfies. I believed he was real bc I had so many pics of him.

But then one day I showed OOMF his pic & her face went pale. She told me she “dated” that guy in the pics before. He had a completely different name, location, personality. And gradually we found more girls who said the same.

We realized that none of us had actually spoken to the boy. We had all been tricked by various creeps, who were using the same pictures of this mystery boy to trick us into sending our own nudes (CSEM) to them.

Many years later, as an adult, I learned that this boy was apparently a victim like we had been. Someone pretending to be a teen, solicited nudes from them, and used his pictures to lure in more targets. His images had been used to groom hundreds of other teens.

Teens today think they’re safe but that’s only bc they have no clue how easy it is to manipulate them. Neither do parents. Few people grasp how insidious & sneaky predators can be, unless they’ve experienced or witnessed it.
I have. That’s why they want me discredited & silenced

Please RT this and share this with with your fellow parents, relatives, teachers, etc. Anyone who works with kids, works in fandom spaces. Parents need to know that lots of kids have secret/burner accounts. Secret phones even.

It’s not enough just to trust your kids. They are trained by these predators to conceal their tracks. Once they get their hooks into these kids, it’s like a cult. It’s very hard to get them out. It often requires mental health professionals’ help. It’s serious.

Thread got borked & fragmented so I had to delete/repost some of the tweets to get them back in place.
