    I spend £15 per month on a Spotify Family Plan, but I don't get to choose which artists my £15 goes to. It mainly goes to music I actively dislike. If everyone that could afford it spent £15 per month on small artists on Bandcamp I think music would be in a much healthier state.

    Music is time. You cannot enjoy all the time there is - you have limits, yet it stretches off in front of you infinitely. Like time, the supply of music has always been so vast as to be meaningless. The quality of any moment you might experience is what gives it unique value.

    Music is ubiquitous. Supply outstrips demand by far. I'm not sure that I agree that it is worth more than its current price. I definitely agree, however, that corporations will take as much money from the work of musicians as the musicians will allow.
