It’s for the html element <map> which associates with a usemap attribute in an <img>. Otherwise how would anyone make a clickable interface?

The more I learn about the history of computing the more I realize hardware is just catching up with 70s theoretical concepts lol. A lot of it seems like they had the ideas down, just couldn't run them well yet. So this generation is.

I’ll actually always welcome this. The manuals I read when I started sucked and I wouldn’t wish that on anybody. Often newcomers can explain the basics a lot better IMO
