    I lived there for 5 years :) and yes, it is true for other parts of the city too (Soma, Financial District, Mission, Lower Haight, parts of North Beach, etc)

    The weird thing about San Francisco is that a person can be incredibly wealthy and still feel dirt poor because of how dirty and unsafe it is. Meanwhile, a less wealthy person living in a clean and safe city feel richer than they actually are.

    I got home just now and did not have the patience to go to the gym. Instead, I ran around in circles in my mom’s basement for 10 minutes. That was enough to make me feel alive again. Momentum gives you life. Don’t stop moving.

    Spent the last 24 hours traveling back from India. Any time I’m on a long journey like that, I feel like death afterwards because of how little you get to move. But no matter how tired I feel, I always force myself to do physical activity once I get home. Just for 5-10 minutes.

    To achieve greatness we have to also accept failure; this is what entrepreneurialism is all about. Not every idea, even if implemented well, is going to work out. I def. appreciated 's outreach w/ potential early adopters; she did it the right way, one by one.

    Since the cat is out the bag: We decided to shut down TruStory and return the investor money. Why? TLDR; We came to the conclusion that TruStory is too early to market. The market is not big enough (yet) for what we want to build.

    This was executed next to perfectly. Usually startups die very quietly and investors just lose money. To accept the idea doesn't work and pivots aren't enough takes courage.

    This is a pro move. A very difficult decision, but incredibly pro to know when to call it. Congrats, on launching TruStory and now on to this next chapter! 🙌🏼

    Lack of regulatory clarity kills innovative ideas. Exhibit A: citing as one reason for shutting down "...we realized that the regulatory and compliance risk of launching a token is still way too too high (especially in the US)...."

    Building new things is hard. Experimenting in a totally new field is hard. went at it and was open and transparent all along the way For all of the critics out there - I hope your startups are very successful Wishing her luck in the new beginnings!

    Finding product market fit for a consumer application is incredibly hard at the best of times. Building one on top of a moving target like crypto even more so. I salute you for trying ! Good luck in your next adventure.
