    I am from la frontera, so it's my responsibility to cover and share these important and historical border stories. How could I not....

    He left his day job, headed for the border, got out his long lens and took some of the first photographs of detained kids who had been separated from their parents through President Trump’s order against legal asylum-seekers and migrants.

    The staff is doing hard & AMAZING wrk down in ! Likes & retweets are nice & all,but SHOW & his understaffed newsroom for what they do in & along the border by SUBSCRIBING to the paper, @ the very least the Sunday paper!

    Wow! Was this REALLY the best way to do this?!Who does PR for ?You NEED peeps who are not "Yes Wo/Men" on your team, so they can raise their hand & ask Qs & be like, "Yeah, no! We shouldn't use men in Cowboy hats mounted on horses w/ WHIPS rounding up Black People!" WTAF!

    Border patrol is mounted on horseback rounding up Haitian refugees with whips. This is unfathomable cruelty towards people fleeing disaster and political ruin. The administration must stop this.

    If I lived in Haiti and considering EVERYTHING that has happened there the last decade or so…I would try as hard as I could, for as long it took… to try to make it into the USA fo a better life…wouldn’t you!?

    BREAKING: The Biden administration is planning to send a "massive" number of migrants from the Texas border to Haiti on flights starting Sunday, a U.S. official said. Plans have not been finalized, but officials are considering five to eight flights a day.

    We are getting to the point that we are “getting a good handle on the migrant population under the bridge,” said Raul Ortiz said, adding they want to move 3,000 migrants over the next 24 hours. Moved 3,300 in last couple of days.

    Some "recent" wrk for on this important story: A lot of migrants have died in the area & the Sheriff is often tasked w/ recovering & investigating the gruesome deaths out in the harsh mountainous terrain of West TX.

    Where is Prof. Barthy Byrd when you need her😀...if you had her for that comm law & society class,you KNOW what I am talking abt 😅. I loved her & her class 🙌🙏but I digress...I wonder why KVIA made said choice, but I am sure the decision (right or wrong) wasn't made haphazardly

    This wld hve been an interesting topic in my Comm Law & Society class; it's interesting that was the only station that aired the face of this 12-yr-old. chose not to show the photo @ all & / blurred the child's face.
