He must be referring to Chengiz Khan's descendant Tamerlane

Tamerlane did attack India, reduced the city of Delhi to rubble, leaving thousands of bodies rotting.

And the descendant of tamerlane, Babur was technically a Mongol (mugal) who had been Islamised + adopted Turkic culture.

If Chingiz had invaded it would have been beneficial for us.

Yes, because an invasion by Genghis Khan wld have been totally non violent. As harmless as choosing a new PM after the general elections

It would've been violent, obviously. But Chengiz Khan invading and destroying the Delhi Sultanate and wiping out Muslim rule would be good

When tamerlane invaded Delhi, he did not even spare Muslims (spared only the sayyids & the ulemas). Chengiz would have killed Hindus too

Of course he would've, but compared to what he would replace - dharma would've been restored.

Yes but no guarantee, like I said, his descendants could have embraced Islam anyways. Would just be an early beginning to the 'Mughal rule'

That is conjecture. You assume that the Khanate would have mandatorily converted to Islam.

Had they embraced Hinduism, nothing like it obv. Just saying we can't be 100% sure that they would adopt Hinduism

There was already an active Hindu resistance by that time, had Chingiz invaded we would have had a fighting chance to regroup.

Didn't the Hindu resistance begin during tughlaq's rule when harihara-bukka escaped & formed Vijayaynagara & hammira imprisoned tughlaq?

Mongols invaded India during the era of the previous khilji dynasty if I'm not mistaken
