Sunni Saudi lobby has grown immensely powerful in US establishment: almost all US foreign policy now being dictated by Sunni interest
@dikgaj What do you make of Trump being first US Prez to directly call out Pak?

Trump has been trying to change dir and disrupt (he appears to hv been less trusted by the US elite-biz-Saudi connected section) but
-
in order to survive in chair he will prioritize: he's been "sent" to take China down, so he may shout abt Pak but will not do much abt it.
-
Cutting Pak down a size or 2 is not in the interests of the Saudi-sunni lobby as well as the connected Brit and Euro viewpoint for ME.
-
Makes sense, but why is Trump being allowed to publicly threaten Pak? It's unprecedented!
-
As I said, Pak is a facilitator for China - its frm that connection this may be allowed to an extent. but more to isolate than take out.
-
Yeah but this works against your prediction of NATO moving jihadi assets to Af-Pak and subcontinent after Syria. Looks like Trump stopped it
-
No. He wont be able to stop it. Whatever he says - overall NATO and intel arrangements will facilitate the jihadi asset saving exercise
