There are a fair few books on Muslims who opposed partition too @HindolSengupta @rupasubramanya but Dhulipala has been ordered.
What would be your proportion estimates for each group? I'd say the non-religious opposition would be less than 10%

Depends on who u want to count.W illiterate majority outside of modern communication/brainwashing..

I'd say if the election numbers are used, they'd be representative enough for statistical averages.

1. Most muslims who participated in process were pro-partition in 1946 2. Most Muslims had no active role in process (both r true)
-
what is sauce for goose (how we judge other groups) is sauce for gander (judge muslims by same), then YES, Muslims supported partition
-
and Ganga-Jamuni Muslims in particular were heavily pro-TNT. ie their leaders of opinion, thinking ppl, activists, all pro-partition
-
that their poor illiterate mass were not actively involved or asked is also true, so we r never sure abt their view, but on general grounds
-
..one wud hv to say: most likely, IF asked after being signaled by their leaders or opinion, they wud hv been pro-partition too
