Every rightist must read Ian Smith's 'Bitter Harvest.' A more 'British than the British' country betrayed, backstabbed by the British.

Deep British/English hatred for the Boers. Revenge after decades.
-
In this case, if the Boers had not betrayed the English of Rhodesia, they would've survived together.
-
Betrayed? That is English BS agitprop. Boers were definitely brutalized by English. Even Gandhiji acknowledged this.
-
We're talking about a different time, this is way after the Boer War. Rhodesians as English supported the Boers.
-
Imperial hatred was because of the Boer war. t never goes away. Look at their hatred even now for "Nazis".
-
I'm well aware of this. My point is very different. Boer leadership sold out Rhodesians to curry favor with 'world opinion'
-
It is true I was not aware of it. But who has more power? Britain or Rhodesia? It is like blaming the smallest guy.
-
Yes obviously Britain has a lot more power. South Africa, though, could have easily stuck by Rhodesia and SAVED ITSELF.
