There's an inbuilt incentive for the losing party to hype the issues and publicize them if there's even a hint of suspicion.

there have always been issues though. They haven't before. There's a "boiling the frog" going on somewhat (apologies to Kek)

on the other hand, much of establishment will never consider Trump legitimate. That could make a big difference.
