That's not what Ford accused him of. The hearing today was confined to Ford's allegations. Kavanaugh unnecessarily introduced the other slew of allegations as the basis for his tearful diatribe.

The job of a judge is to restrain "human emotions" and use their logical faculties, even under trying circumstances. There is no job possibly on Earth which requires this more acutely than Supreme Court justice.
