Ie for me "I don't know" means "I have zero opinion on where to even start". While for many young ppl it seems to mean something else.

"I don't have enough reliable information to have a solid opinion on the matter". But maybe its just me, what does it mean for "younglings"?
They don't know! I think it is along "I don't have a reply that I feel good about, so I'd rather lay low".

It's "i could be wrong" or if the matter is a bit sensitive and it is "2k17" - "i can offend someone [and i dont want to listen to whining]"
