The biggest Twitch problem is discoverability. And in case you are making re-watchable content there is no need to spend time and effort to bring your people on twitch and then try to succeed on YouTube. Just skip the twitch part and invest in understanding how YouTube works.
that's how we started. Bc yay YouTube - it just works and is amazing. Honestly started exploring twitch pretty much for a client and then just loved the chaotic good of how it functions =)
Twitch is great for up-to minute content if you want something outside of podcast/talks - like speak to chat and play some games. And twitch users are so-called "power-users" because they are already committed to the platform. Just try to do something fun and see how it goes :)
yeah, I am with you. Twitch is amazing for the fun content ;-) We do everything there because everything fits - games - chats - random cringe (I am pro!). But when we have a defined format and know what we're doing and for who - that's YouTube.
