A fun thing happened. A conference happening in two weeks decided to be IRL-only, so I had to cancel my talk because of travel restrictions.
Why fun? Well, IRL-only events are back in some parts of the world 
IRL vs online vs hybrid - all 3 models have pros and cons, optimal formats and work best for certain goals, need specific tools for successful execution. Guess I should make a YouTube short about it at some point...since I ended up involved in all 3 models.

I guess they are good for different things. Online works for knowledge sharing but suck for networking in my opinion. And I'm currently in a position where I would like to do a lot of networking and face to face meetings...

maaaan I am missing face to face... I get that at a virtual event I have a better chance of meeting who I really need to business-wise, but still... Also building relations IRL is easier/faster in many cases.
