IMO this is a rare example of a talk when live coding makes lots of sense.
the reason to be for http://devrel.events is the hallway track - all the cross-domain conversations one can have by hanging out at confs like @TheLeadDev or @BuildStuffConf - those are cool and useful and we need more of that. Hence we do #devrel meetups bi-weekly
why #devrel umbrella then? To celebrate and popularise the craft. Your developer advocate 
is a programmer by day, a speaker by night, a doc writer tomorrow, a community manager the next day. Then it's time to choose and setup a forum platform, automate company's github stuff...
...then figure the licensing with legal, cycle on the copy with marketing, facilitate the online community event, jump to a support call for sales and still be expected to deliver code by the sprint end. Oh, and finish the tutorial video & sample project for the alpha build tmrw
I am not complaining. I am indeed celebrating #devrel craft and people who can wear so much hats and do so many things at once.
We should talk more about developer relations and our bi-weekly meetups is just a start.
