Interesting enough, in #Vilnius the same kind of event did not work, so I had to unbundle it into the techy part and the public speaking part as separate events.
Also thinking of attracting initiatives like @vlngirlscode and #womengotech to help ensure the events are inclusive.
The tech event series partner is #Unity3d <3 one and only. We'll host events around crafts like #graphics #programming, #AI, #gameengine QA at their brand new events theater in #Vilnius starting with the grand opening event in February.

A placeholder for a series of #events for #devrel folks made together with partners who share our values of making this industry a better place.
Example 1: the art and visual identity overall is [being] created by a young artist currently studying in Korea. The idea is that her art/visuals gonna attract more people outside of the traditional programmer meetup goers' crowd. And that's useful for all.pic.twitter.com/R26Hn7W5pu
Example 2: the copy and agenda for events will be run by friendly women in tech communities to ensure our language is inclusive and not off-putting. Aaaaand! They'll share our events with their network to help with speakers, co-hosts and obviously event goers ;-)
Currently we're working on 6 confirmed events in #Vilnius - with a #gamedev touch and with a "So you want to talk at a tech event?" theme to boost the culture of #techtalks
#Stockholm will continue #devrel meetups, but we're looking to grow and perhaps expand to #Malmö
