How about giving people a short URL that redirects to an appropriate place. You could also register http://pridiuk.com and have a few redirector URLs on that domain name like /FB /fb /twitter etc. to redirect to the right place.
so I am Olle Pridiuksson on one social networks and Oleg Pridiuk on another. And I don't remember who I am where. Now imagine a person I've just met wants to find me on FB. And I don't know my name and suggest multiple options =]
