Travelling to the US isn't fun these days. Frankly I avoid it as much as possible now. Sad considering when I was growing up we didn't even need a passport, Just drove across the border at will. Now it's a roll of the dice if you run into a petty tyrant with way too much power

this particular story actually happened IIRC 4 or 5 years ago, way before the recent events. Nowadays I'd be terrified to get myself into any similar situation, I think.
