yup. but that only works if the person has the time and finances to be able to handle that amount of time off :-/ all too often, we burn out, spend a week or two in recovery mode, and then jump into a new job, which has great "new relationship energy" but only masks the burnout.
ah, myself and a bunch of colleagues we able to "lay-low" within the same role while healing-up. Was just a matter of work/health priorities.
Oh, and I managed to burnout-->heal up-->devrel responsibly 2 times within the last 8 years. I think this cycle is quite sustainable
