Doesn’t have much smell actually. The fruit itself is white, only when you put it on your skin does it start to take color. Takes several hours though before you can see anything.

It stays on your skin for days. It’s something about the oxidizing effect. I need to read how it works but it definitely does work. When I initially just did my arms & legs only all the bites I got ended being my back, bum, tummy etc.
