I really don't think they care about the subscribers or the views anymore, They just want the creators to make longer videos and keep their audience engaged for the longest period of time . (2/2)

Exactly. Now they will force creators to upload daily or even twice daily. More content, more watchtime, more earnings.

I'm not sure about the 50K one & 1m is already gold w/ 100k being silver, but a badge or some kind of small reward for a smaller milestone than 100k would be kind of nice [:

I think the main thing YT is actually looking for is watch time, more than the content what YT really values is how much time you spend on the platform through a creator , the longer you stay the more YT makes money through advertising. (1/2)
