    I was wrong, Nigeria is not ready for innovation. Investors should take their money elsewhere.

    OPay raises $120million backed by Chinese investors after raising $50million in June. Visa also invested $200m in Interswitch and Palmpay also raised $40million. By 2020 the fintech storm that the Nigeria market has tried to hold would hit it with full force.

    OPay tried to start a bus service in Lagos, it was killed. So let nobody tell you this recent ban is about "safety" as the buses OPay wanted to bring were a lot safer than the ancient (but protected by Government) danfos on our roads.
