if you are not currently jailbroken and want one: STAY. ON. iOS. 11. even if you are on 11.4.x, STAY. DO NOT update to iOS 12.
1) iOS 11 (even .4.1) already has multiple jbs & kernel vulnerabilities publicly disclosed. iOS 12 has NONE and will not have any for MONTHS (these are essential for jb) 2) iOS 12 has potentially new security features which have not yet been bypassed; iOS 11 has been fully pwned
3) there are very very few times in jb history where a jb has been released for a new major iOS version before it has been done for an old one, these is just basic logic 4) again, it is likely to be a 6+ month wait before you see a jb for 12 -- assuming the best. DON'T UPDATE.
iOS 12 is better in every aspect. F*ck iOS 11, I just prefer enjoy the smoothness, speed, better battery life and much better ram management. I can patently wait 6 months while I enjoy a really good OS and not some shit full of bugs. And Yes, I was on iOS 11.3.1, then updated.
[2/2]And I don’t regret for a second. Before I updated to iOS 12 I was forced to update to iOS 11.4.1 and the battery life on that version was just pure trash. My battery life on iOS 12 now runs almost about 2 days. You never know the real differences until you test for yourself.

I’m looking for a jailbreak but I’m also looking for a good OS without annoying bugs, freezes, with good battery life and ram management. iOS 11 is simply the worst IOS ever. I prefer to wait months on iOS 12 for a Jailbreak than stay on iOS 11 with freezes and shitty battery.

let's say an 11.4.x exploit drops: you get a jailbreak the same day let's say an 12.x exploit works: there are high chances of it working on 11.4.x and either way there are high chances someone will make it work: you still get a jailbreak If you're on 12.x gotta wait a few months

I don't see anyone blowing a 0day without *at least* a full exploit, i don't think they're gonna do that; probably just a PoC of the IOKit bug patched in 12.1
