    The mathematic on this is completely bogus. Especially because the average salary of hourly workers at Walmart is already 14.xx and minimum of 11.00 - also 2.2 million is worldwide and not in the US.

    Walmart made $14.88 Billion in net profits in 2020. They employ 2.2 Million people. If all 2.2 Million went from $7.25 an hour to $15, on an 80 hour work week, that would cost Walmart an extra $35.46 Billion a year. Where will the additional $20.58 Billion come from?

    Naja es ist mir auch klar, dass der Grund für die Ausgangssperre ist, dass die Leute sich nicht an das Kontaktverbot halten und sich einfach gegenseitig besuchen. Mit Ausgangssperre kann dann jeder aufgegriffen werden, der auf dem Weg von oder zu einem unerlaubten Besuch ist.

    Fun fact: es ist schweinekalt draußen. Wer nach 20 Uhr draußen rumläuft wird wahrscheinlich alleine spazierengehen und nicht irgendwo in Gruppen rudelsaufen.

    Ausgangssperren? Klingt nach absolutem Unsinn. Wie lange will die Politik Unsinn anordnen nur weil sie Angst vor Homeoffice Pflicht hat. Wer steckt sich bitte Nachts nach 20 Uhr an momentan?

    Nach Tagesspiegel-Informationen prüfen Bund und Länder nächtliche ab 20 Uhr als neue Maßnahme gegen das . Auch die Personenzahl im Öffentlichen Verkehr könnte deutlich gesenkt werden.

    Es gibt immer wieder Diskussion über Sonderrechte für Geimpfte. Niemand scheint über Sonderrechte für Genesene nachzudenken. Wie sieht das eigentlich mit Antikörpern von Genesenen aus? Sind die ähnlich wie Impfung auch aktiv gegen die Mutationen?

    One thing I really dislike about the beginning of this year is that due to health reasons I entered it with a long backlog of things that now need to be squeezed into the new work of the year. So much for life and work balance.

    One thing that is so crazy about iOS/MacOS kernel is that Apple seems to love to refactor code so that stuff changes unexpectedly and you only accidentally realise the change when you want to explain something else nearby.
