Covering-up history could protect influence of RCPsych. Will you speak out on smearing of patients critical of PACE? thecanary.co/2016/10/02/res

completely agree, nothing GAINS trust more, than by someone saying 'sorry we got it wrong and will put it right'

I've not seen any sign of that from Wendy or yet. Head-in-sand response to difficult & important scandal. This needs to change.

When the 'truth' part will undermine the interests of so many with power & authority, I suspect attempts at denial & evasion will continue.

Most people respect sorry/got it wrong, that's what starts the healing process, this needs to happen

YES. Imagine with 'BPD'! 'We recognise we've got this wrong, and its hurt you. Can we start again, tell us when we are not getting it right'

I've not seen any willingness to engage in real discussion about this from RCPsych. Previoulsy, patients were smeared. Will this change?
perhaps a letter to the RCP written by you, co-signed by many groups in support?

Similar things have failed in the past, but could be worth another go - even though so far there's been no sign of a change in attitude.
