The statin is working mainly via blood thinning impact?
I'm fairly sure that there are different disease pathologies at play. Although long haul covid presents similarly (with PEM etc), it probably has an entirely different way of messing up the body.

For example, I have LC with all the PEM symptoms, but I have zero muscular fatigue so probably have no mitochondrial dysfunction.
