No, seriously, the MS Supreme Court killed the one means of recourse we have when our gerrymandered lawmakers fail us.
Correcting this. I got my numbers mixed up. Mississippi's Supreme Court has 2 liberal justices, 7 conservatives. One of the liberal justices voted with the majority to strike down Initiative 65. The other liberal dissented, along with 2 conservatives, against the majority.
This shit makes me so fucking mad! Same thing happen in Michigan. Voters decided no more appointed city mangers, but legislature over turned it. That's how the pipes in FLINT got destroyed & water poisoned! An appointed manager made the decisions.
