There's been very little to no data suggesting that there's any correlation to people being on unemployment and not returning to work. That is a right wing talking point. This is all just another reason why we so desperately need a Universal Basic Income.
There's also all the workers who moved to gig work.
Some red states are about to end the $300 additional unemployment benefits. Montana, Arkansas, and South Carolina. It'd be a shame if their state houses, Senates, and governor's offices received a bunch of phonecalls telling them how bad of an idea this is.

It's almost unbelievable that "employed or missing" actually had a higher risk than the very people considered the front line (medical). Though easier to believe when you take into account that someone working in that field should have knowledge and access to it.
