There is no Biden plan to force Americans to eat less red meat. The policy Fox discussed on at least five shows on Friday and Saturday, and that Republican governors and members of Congress have denounced, is completely imaginary. A fact check:http://www.cnn.com/2021/04/26/politics/fact-check-biden-climate-plan-red-meat-hamburger/index.html …

        - There is nothing in President Biden’s climate plan about limiting meat consumption. The source of this rumor was an article in The Daily Mail, a right-leaning British tabloid. Like many conservative talking points, it is nothing other than wild speculation masquerading as fact.

They wouldn’t be Republicans if they didn’t manufacture outrage over a manufactured crisis. 🙄

Yet it would be good for everybody's and the planet's health to minimize its consumption.

And people who don't eat meat — vegetarians — generally eat fewer calories and less fat, weigh less, and have a lower risk of heart disease than nonvegetarians do. Even reducing meat intake has a protective effect.
