I bet many people reading this feed are as sick and tired as I am of being told that the U.S. criminal justice system cannot respond effectively to crimes committed by powerful people because it is too "hard" to do so. Our justice system is supposed to be *built* for hard cases.
After 3 recounts, a certification, and repeated statements *directly to him* by Georgia's SoS, Trump does *not* have legal protection against prosecution. "Willful ignorance" is not a defense for him. Besides, he demanded just enough votes to win—which establishes his "mens rea."
Translation: guilty
So, he can be charged with some crime here? You’re a lawyer; I’m not. Is this criminal?
