This would be wrong, if it were true. Cochrane decision is based on independent review of poor methodology. Good science being brought to bear on bad science. Most recently: twitter.com/huisarts_vink/ And to be fair you should declare in this tweet your own personal COI.

The many reports of harm should be the proper focus of your concern: “there is no evidence that graded exercise therapy is effective. Because of the failure to report harms adequately in the trials covered by the review, it cannot be said that graded exercise therapy is safe.”

Certain members of the medical profession shout over patients when they raise concerns about methodology. Medical professionals such as Wessely have the ear of the press and use it to dismiss and denigrate patients rather than address their methodological flaws.
