So one F-22 airframe has been spotted in a roofless hangar at Tyndall. Check out the upper left portion of this photo. No idea if this is flying airframe or a ground trainer or what, but it doesn't look good. More on Tyndall AFB's sad state here: thedrive.com/the-war-zone/2

Guessing it was not airworthy and got stuck in the storm. A lot of their aircraft and Elgin aircraft went to Wright-Pat. Looks like about 5-6 aircraft in that hangar including QF-16s and a few SOCOM birds. Very unfortunate. Time to restart the F-22 line!

Likely more than that. The Mu-2s are contractor aircraft that do basic target profiles for training.

If airworthy, it would’ve been ‘hurrivaced’, I’m fairly certain. If ‘non-airworthy’, how common is a Raptor so ‘non-airworthy’ they needed to let it ride out a CAT-IV?!?🤔

At approximately the 2:26 mark, there are other planes in that hangar. Don't know what they are

It doesn’t look like it has the 2-tone gray paint scene. Hopefully it’s static...

how is that? You can’t just take a jet going through phase or deep MX/awaiting parts in the air in matter is a few days. And the F-22 is one finicky beast.
