Grand Theft Auto IV's radio stations forced into playlist changes

Gaming April 27, 2018
The fictional in-game radio station was a hit with fans, but with the game turning 10 years old, the licenses for some songs had expired, meaning they had to be removed.

Tomorrow a new patch will be released for GTA IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony that removes & replaces music tracks from in-game radio stations, including a large portion of Vladivostok FM. This seems like a good time to start collecting GTA IV OST discs.

The new GTA IV Patch that replaces unlicensed songs in the in-game radio stations, is now live on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The patches are 6.9GB and they will be installed if you own a digital or a physical copy of GTA IV and/or EFLC. (Thanks to @FVR_X1 for the picture)

Why are they removing it?

Licenced expired so they can't sell NEW copies with the songs, ...so punishes ALL of us instead of branching off the builds like every other developer.

Looking at all these songs getting removed from GTA IV. Sadness. They're removing that German song you hear when you meet Roman for the first time. Criminal.
