Moved by the prayers and immense solidarity shown little Alfie Evans, I renew my appeal that the suffering of his parents may be heard and that their desire to seek new forms of treatment may be granted.
Italy granted #AlfieEvans citizenship in hopes that doing so would facilitate his “immediate” transfer to Rome, the Italian Foreign Ministry said.

A High Court judge is set to oversee a further hearing on Alfie's case in the next few hours. Mr Justice Hayden is scheduled to hear more discussion at a hearing in Manchester.
