Alright, I've finished going through the NDP platform. Lemme first say: I expected a v. middling platform, not there to ruffle feathers. I was V. wrong. The ONDP swings for the fences a bunch, and that makes for better politics. Here's the thing itself:

Putting people first: I applaud the commitment to improve access to the health services that + communities rely on: from covering gender-affirming care and to ensuring long-term care is welcoming for , all folks.

Trans people in this province desperately need access to (much) better health care. The platform promises to fully cover the cost of transition drugs for trans people & improve access to gender-confirming surgery.
