"Only one woman had texts, video, and photographic evidence that Johnny Depp drunkenly beat her, so LOL NBD, right?" - David Yates, basically http://ew.com/movies/2017/11/28/fantastic-beasts-director-defends-johnny-depp/ …pic.twitter.com/dMI6OuTqpr
I...I trust David Yates speaking on this. The allegations aren't good but it neither makes sense to fire him at this point, nor are the claims certain. I've kept my opinion on the fence about Depp, but...I think he'll make a good Grindelwald, and it's worth looking forward to.
David Yates is the hero of the day for standing up for Johnny Depp and giving us an insight of what the industry really thinks of him.Thank you Mr Yates!
Screw this, in so many ways. Screw Yates, screw Depp, screw this enabling culture crap. Also, I'm disappointed in the reporter for not pushing back or challenging Yates on his position at all.pic.twitter.com/b8iqOR9yF6
@jk_rowling Help Us! Don't let let Johnny Depp continue in the movie being accused of violence and abuse. Harry Potter is about equality, diversity and girl power!

Once more of the people in the back: HE NEVER HURT ME is not a solid defense of someone accused of abuse. Plenty of abusers, rapists, and goddamn serial killers had friends and families who they never hurt. It changes nothing. #FantasticBeasts2
